In keeping with the recent seasonal effects pieces that this blog has been doing, this post will examine the start of the consumption of A Fairytale of New York for this year’s Christmas season. I took a look at how much we consume this song last year here. However, I thought it may be worth while to track it this year again to show the increase in it’s consumption at the start of the festive period rather than retrospectively.
There is obviously an overall increase in the consumption of the song but the only thing which seems to vary is that it appears to be consumed at inconsistent levels from day to day, as is evident from the sharp rises and falls from day to day.
